Martin Mutanda

Martin started playing soccer at Agatha Shinetti Soccer Academy (ASSA) youth academy at the age of six. He went to Prince Edward High School in Harare and was named captain. While in high school, Martin won the NASH Championship in 2005 and the Coca-Cola tri-nation in 2006. After graduating high school he played professional for  Monomotapa FC United in Zimbabwe Premium League and won the 2008 Championship.

Martin was invited on a  try out with Legia Warsaw in 2008. He was named team captain of the Zimbabwe U-17, was vice-captain of the Zimbabwe U-20, and was a member of the U-23 and the national team. Martin won COSAFA tournament as a member of the U-17 and U-20.
Martin attended the University of Montevallo. Martin holds his USSF “D” License, Coever Youth Diploma and  CAF “C” License.
