Meghan Kemp

Meghan was born and raised in Madison, AL, attending and playing soccer for Bob Jones High School. She played all four years on varsity and scored the winning goal for the very first state championship for Bob Jones High School in 2003 as a freshmen. She made the Alabama ODP team four years as well as attended ODP regional camp each of those years. She played for Kicks Soccer Club in Huntsville as well as Vestavia Hills Soccer Club in Birmingham. She went to two regional tournaments with her club teams, representing the state of Alabama.

She went on to play at the collegiate level at the University of North Alabama. She lettered two years before moving to Auburn and finishing her degree in elementary education at Auburn University in Montgomery. She began teaching and coaching the girls varsity soccer team at Benjamin Russell High School for two years while also coaching for Thunder. Meghan attained her USSF National C license in December of 2019. She continued her education at the University of West Alabama and recently completed her Masters degree in Elementary Education. She is married to coach Landon Kemp and is currently a stay at home mom to their daughter Piper and son Beckham, as well as the Auburn Thunder Assistant Director of Coaching.
