Just think: 1 ball allows 22 children to play soccer in Uganda instead of being recruited as soldiers. There are green donation bins at the Soccer Complex on Wire Road where you can place balls. Five Thunder Champions at Thunder Road
Auburn Thunder had a great showing at this year's Thunder Road Classic (August 20-22) producing 5 champions and several other teams performing well. Congratulations to the following champions:
The U12 Girls (Blue) beat Columbus Red Star (GA) 3-1 to secure the championship. The U13 Boys beat the U14 Troop Titans (GA) 2-0 to finish the tournament undefeated. The U14 Girls won a close 3-2 game over Bay United Sharks (FL) and finished undefeated as well. The U15 Boys finished the tournament with a 3-0 victory over PSA Temperley (TN). The U16 Boys got revenge over the Fusion team from northeast Alabama with a 1-0 victory in the championship.
The U13 Boys and U14 Girls won despite playing against teams that were older. The U10 Girls finished a close second in the tournament. The U12 Boys, U17 Girls, and U18 Boys (Blue) finished 2nd in their "flights". Congratulations to all the Thunder teams for their outstanding effort during the heat. Good Luck on the rest of the season!

Individual & Team Pictures
Smiles & Such Photography will be taking individual and team pictures over the next few weeks. You will have an opportunity to purchase these pictures, with a percentage of the proceeds going directly to Auburn Thunder. In addition, the team pictures will be used on this website.

Advanced Camp
It's time to start the Fall season with Advanced Camp. Camp will be at the Wire Road Soccer Complex from 9:00 - Noon, Monday through Thursday. Please be sure that you bring plenty of water as it will be very hot.
