The U12 Boys won again on a wet and cold Sunday afternoon in Vestavia Hills. The beat the Hoover Phantoms 2-1 to improve to 5-1 in league play. Ben Garner scored both goals for Auburn while the defense and goal keepers held Hoover scoreless for most of the game.

Under 11 Boys

The Auburn Thunder U11 Boys improved to 6-0 in league play with an 8-1 win over BUSA-Red on Sunday in Auburn. Seven different boys scored for Auburn, with Avery Atkins picking up two goals; the other six players were Eduardo Naranjo, Jack Rogers, Nicholas Van Ginkel, Matthew Kisor and Craig Hensarling. Eduardo led the team with 3 assists, while Jack Rogers and Will Atkinson also had assists. Craig Hensarling and Carson Dark played goalie, limited BUSA to just 1 goal on 5 shots. The Thunder will complete league play on October 18th when they travel to take on Vestavia at 2 p.m. and BUSA-South Shelby at 5 p.m. The game against BUSA-South Shelby will determine the fall league champion.
